Installations > Driftless

Driftless uses handmade Japanese paper to closely examine the edges of three riverbanks. The paper is treated with konn'yaku paste, a substance typically used to waterproof paper. The paste causes the paper to buckle and shrink, making it form its own topography.

This installation was completed with the help of a Project Assistance Grant from the College Book Art Association.
